Why? I'll try to prove this opinion.

it's only 11 millimeters in depth

it has so large 320x240 colorfully screen

it's all beauty in black style

Below I write my personal experiences, useful tricks,
provide a few free plugins, themes, and demos,
and my own programs, I made specially for this device.
All in all, it's always in black.

(Dog is not included.)

Btw. I'm independent developer. I have several various mobile devices all the time.
Believe me, I keep i320 for my personal use for months.

Replacement the default Simple Windows Home Screen theme to the gray version:

open > File Manager and run this file one time to start to unpack

go to Settings > Display > Home Screen

select Simple Gray layout theme, then > Done

return to Home Screen

Replacement the default Simple Windows Home Screen theme to the black version:

select Simple Black layout theme, then > Done

Replacement the default Default Windows Home Screen theme to the gray version:

Replacement the Windows Home Screen theme to the animated EARTH version:

select Animated Earth layout theme, then > Done

The Earth image rotates itself around.

Internet Time), to see: press Action button while you're watching Home Screen.

Replacement the Windows Home Screen theme to the animated Marvin version:

follow the above procedure

select THG2G Marvin layout theme, then > Done

THis replacement takes 5M of memory, because it speaks all known Marvin famous word.
You don't know who's Marvin. You should read the book The Hitchhiker's Guide of the Galaxy.
There are some additional information displayed (missed calls, messages, upcoming appointments,
Internet Time), to see: press Action button while you're watching Home Screen,
and look what Marvin will do then. Have fun!

Replacement the default Windows Media Player skin:

download this file to your mobile device MediaplayerBlack.cab

go to File Manager and run this file

when you will see some warning message, accept

after installation it will ask you to restart the device

PLEASE NOTE: this will overwrite default files in your operating system,
this is one way operation without typical "remove program",
when you will want to back to the default skin, you have to use the below special file

certainly, you still can use fullscreen mode

Replacement back to the default Windows Media Player skin:

Making the movie:
Personally, I'm very very impressed of the quality of motion pictures in this smartphone.
I didn't saw such a high quality previously, in any other mobile device.
Details of screen are amazing, motion is fast, and sounds are heard great.
Of course, watching movies in smartphone is not preliminary purpose (at least for me)
but it's a very AMAZING in this smartphone. It kicks up all!

How to encode the movie for this smartphone:

copy the selected DVD to your hard disk

or use any ready movie, or recorded TV,
in any known format, like DIVX, MPEG, MOV

in desktop Windows open Media Encoder

encode the selected file to .wmv with following parameters:
screen size 320x240, 25 frames per second, bitrate 768 kbps
stereo sounds, bitrate 96 or 128 kbps

or use any other 3rd parts software for encoding, like X Video Converter

you should get around 140MB file for 90 minutes of the movie running time

A.SMS^TM Black Edition
This is a special version of my program A.SMS,
I made specially for this smartphone and its features.
It allows you to review all received messages in one screen, incl. Sender's photo,
and compose the new message with some advanced features, like encryption, self-destructing.

MY REMINDER
This is a simple program with only one purpose:
to remind by speaking voice message, every 3 minutes,
how many missed phone calls or received messages are.

to precisely 1/100sec. count the running time,
and take/review several lap times.

Remove "Message sent" notification
If you don't want to see this preoccupied message, every time after you sent message:

open > File Manager and run this file one time to start installation

GPS driver
If you cannot use external Bluetooth GPS Receiver with some programs (like Google Maps for mobiles):

download this file to your device: jgui_gpsdriver.cab

open > File Manager and run this file one time to start installation

turn the power off/on or make soft-reset

I'm not sure my opinions about current Google Maps for mobiles: it runs smoothly,
but every new map need 35kB of downloads (a little too much for such small screen and wireless connection costs),
some times it lost GPRS connection and quit completely at this moment (why?).
